ABOUT US
Multisport Journeys, LLC was formed in 2009 to serve the needs of traveling Boomers & Beyond. Its goal was to share active vacation travel ideas with people who are in their 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's, who want to remain active but might not recreate like they used to in their younger years. These same ideas we discovered are also perfect for families traveling with children. Even younger adults in their 20's and 30's we now believe may also find our profiled activities plenty challenging. Our initial focus was on describing beautiful and interesting travel locations with specific do-it-yourself activities including hikes, road bicycle rides, mountain bike rides, water recreation opportunities and vehicle-related trips - and then the merchandise took on a life (is good) of its own. Hence, the Multisports brand was born and the travel guidebooks have been delayed until 2012.

We sell truly custom activewear, not just t-shirts. Ever find an artwork image you like, but want it printed on a different color or style of shirt? Do you love a niche sport that you can never find in stores? Want to proclaim your love of the outdoors year round in something other than a basic tee shirt?
Our online customers can make their own personal set of choices. Simply pick the product you want, in the color and size you want, then choose your favorite sports or travel image or predefined groupings of images from our ever expanding fun and original artwork collection and we will custom print, laser or embroider it for you – in the USA!
We offer cotton tees, of course, but also wicking tees, polos, fleeces, mugs & totes, baseball caps and snow beanies. Plus, our merchandise is available in women’s, kids and baby styles and sizes – not just one size fits all unisex options.
Our merchandise can be imprinted with our Singles full scene images, Solo sport only images or grouped in image sets we call Triples and Quads. Our laser artwork is literally burned into our fleeces and our hat art is embroidered onto hats. Online customers can even create their own custom grouping of their favorite sports and travel images and add their own sayings. Active Travel Guidebooks
Activities will be rated by level of exertion and degree of difficulty as either Warrior, Explorer and/or Cruiser. As the Guides who scout for Multisport Journeys can attest, for most people, with age comes some wisdom, more caution regarding physical safety and the tendency to stop and enjoy the view rather than simply focusing on reaching a summit or completing a heart pounding ride in record time. If you want to be active, even put in some miles, but look up to enjoy fabulous scenery and calibrate your effort by varying the types of activities you engage in and how hard to push yourself even if only occassionally - then this website is for you regardless of your age! If you exhibit what we call "hammer head" tendencies and keep your nose to the trail or road and go "all out" all the time without regard for your physical safety - then this website is not for you!
We plan to sell a full series of digital and paper guidebooks. Multisport Journey's website will offer e-books profiling regions and downloads of "chapters" from e-books profiling specific towns. Each chapter will contain an area overview and profiles of multiple activities that are appropriate for the geography. These activities will primarily be of the do-it-yourself nature - maps, GPS coordinates, turn-by-turn directions, pictures and written profiles so you can pace yourself and minimize your costs. However, interesting guided activities will be described and links to and information about other reference materials, maps and service providers will be shared as well. But best of all, unless otherwise noted, the profiled activities will be pre-screened by Guides who themselves are in their 50's and 60's and so attuned to the needs of Boomers & Beyond, Families & other Reformed Couch Potatos!
